Help us hold more Circles
Circles launched in 2023 with seed funding from NHS England, which enabled us to develop and test the model alongside nurses, midwives, and senior leaders across the NHS.
We’ve been able to record stories from a range of contributors, offer Circles in hospitals around the country, and train NHS staff to facilitate Circles in their own workplaces.
Our next goal is to offer free or lower-cost Circles in more workplaces. Below are a few ways you can help us make that happen – get in touch if something sounds interesting to you!
Become a funding partner
We’re looking for funding partners to support a Circles roll-out across the UK – particularly trusts and foundations with a passion for staff wellbeing and anti-racism.
If you like what you’ve seen and want to support us, please do get in touch.
Get funding to bring NHS Circles to your workplace
Think NHS Circles could work in your hospital or trust? Get in touch with your idea!
To explore funding support, we suggest discussing with the EDI or Learning Development lead in your NHS Regional team.
Commission new Circles
We’d love Circles to reach more workplaces by expanding the themes and contexts we can address. If you’re an organisation wanting to explore a specific topic, find out more about how we create new Circles and get in touch with your idea.
Collaborate with us on a research study
We’d love to have more data on the practice and effects of Circles. If you’re part of a university and you’d like to discuss collaborating on a research study, we’d love to hear from you!
Feedback from our initial funders
✎ “It has been a joy to work with the Empathy Museum on such an inspiring project.
Circles has been a powerful way of engaging and supporting nurses and health care assistants who have faced huge challenges with resilience due to the Covid pandemic and the huge pressure currently facing healthcare delivery. It has also been a core component of our work on anti-racism and supporting the career progression of nurses and midwives from the Global Majority.
The team are engaging and collaborative and I cannot recommend them highly enough.“
